Requirements: Perception skill 90% or higher; Integrated with both the Mastery Rune and one of the elemental Runes of Shadow, Light, Air, Dark, Cold, Heat or Fire.
Hero Points: 10

The hero has honed his senses to the extent he can feel the presence of invisible, hidden, camouflaged or secret items, even such things as ‘secret’ doorways. He is automatically allowed a Perception check if he passes within 3m of the item or person. This is not a replacement for, or addition to any senses, merely a heightening of the senses the hero already has.
If an illusion is missing a sense the hero is also allowed a passive Perception check to realise that something is amiss.

Acute Senses also mean the hero can react to danger before he is normally allowed to do so: he cannot be surprised, suffers no Surprise penalty to his Strike Rank, and can make Reactions to Combat Actions occurring before his first Combat Action.
